Jami lives in Southern California with her husband, stepdaughter, daughter and dog Kona. Jami is a passionate teacher and has twenty-plus years of experience working with elementary-age students. She has impacted many lives with her dedication and love for her profession.

Jami’s family was complete when she and her husband adopted a little girl at birth. Jami’s youngest daughter is her inspiration for writing this book in hopes that it tells her story and adventures to everyone who reads it. It is Jami’s wish that her book will inform people on open transracial adoption and what a wonderful blessing it is. May the message of love, hope and happiness touch the heart that connects us all.
